Angels’ feet are always walking around

Leaving behind footprints that can not be erased by time or nature.

Are all Angels angels in the real sense of it?

Or do we have human Angels sent to grow live within us, then leave us better?

Doesn’t every loss hurt?

Why then do we have Angels stay with us for a time?

Why do they earn from themselves a beautiful place in our hearts?

Mending every torn part of it, flooding our very essence with love and beautiful smiles that never disappear, tiny footprints that resound in our ears forever.

Their little voices ever ready to scream ‘raaaahh’ and run round the corridor where you sit on the tiles and sing ‘Row, row, row your boat’,

The reason for their excitement unexplainable but contagious.

Angels don’t last long on Earth but their memories do.

And someday, I hope it would be more than just footprints and dreams.

Someday, it would be the Angel’s voice, in real life, screaming, ‘Aunty Ubat’, as usual.
